Experience Design Lead for Anthology Marketing Group
Hawaiʻi Pacific Health is comprised of four hospitals and numerous clinics located throughout Hawaiʻi. Working for this client for several years presented opportunities to work on projects from redesign/rebrand through growth and maintenance to address ongoing marketing objectives.
The first assignment was to present their hospitals cohesively under the Hawaiʻi Pacific Health umbrella as opposed to disparate entities. This entailed a thorough exploration of information architecture and a comprehensive content audit of multiple sites that had not been touched since 2008. We successfully brought together four disparate websites and other microsites under one custom-designed content management system with comprehensive, intuitive navigation for visitors to navigate seamlessly between the four hospitals and their shared services. As a result, Hawaiʻi Pacific was honored in 2014 as Marketer of the Year with the Gold Award by the Hawaiʻi AMA Chapter.
As the lead designer, other projects that evolved from the initial redesign entailed creating custom microsite cms platforms that could be used for several service lines, another for their foundation’s department, several blog sites, ongoing digital advertising, and another brand redesign that was carried through all online channels.
In 2018, the client took a proactive approach to WCAG compliance and an assessment was made to optimize and ensure compliance. Both myself and the front-end developer went through the audit to optimize the site accordingly.
